LARENZ TATE
as Zachery Cranston
Larenz Tate is an incredibly talented American actor and producer. Larenz and his two brothers, Larron Tate and Lahmard J. Tate got into acting at a young age, after their family moved from the west side of Chicago to Los Angeles. Larenz secured his first role in an episode of 'The New Twilight Zone' when he was just 10 years old. He’s gone on to amass an impressive list of credits in television and film and has even produced, directed and starred in the very successful podcast ‘Bronzeville’ alongside his brothers Larron and Lahmard Tate and actor Laurence Fishburne.
Larenz’s impressive credits include appearances on the television shows ’21 Jump Street’, ’The Wonder Years’, ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’, and a role on ‘Family Matters’ as Steve Urkel’s nemesis Willie Fuffner. He also plays several iconic roles in feature films like ‘Menace II Society’, ‘Dead Presidents’, ‘Love Jones’, ‘Why Do Fools Fall in Love’, ‘Crash’ and ‘Ray’, where he played famous record producer Quincy Jones with whom he’d previously worked. In recent years he’s had great success playing the role of the infamous Councilman Tate in the Starz crime drama ‘Power’ and its spinoff ‘Ghost’, which is still running. And of course, Larenz starred in and was an executive producer for 'Business Ethics'.

Larenz has also received several awards and nominations throughout his career including four Outstanding Actor NAACP nominations, three Black Reel Awards Outstanding Actor nominations, an Acapulco Black Film Festival Best Actor nomination for his work in ‘Love Jones’ and Best Actor award for his work in ‘Why Do Fools Fall in Love’. He also received two Young Artist Award nominations early in his career and won Best Ensemble Performance from the Hollywood Film Awards, Awards Circuit Community Awards, Gold Derby Awards, Critics Choice Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards for his work in 'Crash'.

SARAH CARTER
as Veronica
Sarah Carter is a classically trained Canadian film and television actress, writer, producer and director. After studying theatre, dance and fine arts at university in Toronto she moved to Los Angeles where her career took off quickly.
Early in her career Sarah was cast in some major television series like ‘Wolf Lake’, ‘Undeclared’, ’Dark Angel’, ’Black Sash’, ‘Boston Legal’, ‘Smallville’, and ‘Entourage’. She then landed a major role in CBS’s legal drama series ‘Shark’ where she played rookie prosecutor Madeleine Poe.
Since then Sarah has continued to be cast in major television series like 'The Cleaner', 'CSI:NY', and 'White Collar' and had reccurring roles in the 2010s remakes of both ‘Hawaii Five-O’ and ‘The Flash’ for which she was nominated for CHoice TV: Villian by the Teen Choice Awards. She's also had major roles in the series 'Falling Skies’ and ‘Rogue'. Her acting credits also include roles in major feature films ‘The Vow’, and ‘Pearl’, and starring roles in ‘Guardian’ and 'Business Ethics'.
Sarah has had great success behind the camera as well as in front of it. She wrote and starred in a short film called ‘Currency’ where she played Andy Warhol’s muse Edie Sedgwick. She also recently wrote, directed and starred in the feature film ‘In Her Name’, for which she has received many accolades including nominations for Best Direction and Best Narrative Feature from Next Generation Indie Film Awards, a nomination for Best Fiction Feature from Red Rock Film Festival and an award for Best Director from the Nòt Film Festival.

JULIAN DE ZOTTI
as Wilfred
Julian De Zotti is a skilled Canadian actor, writer, director and producer. He has made appearances in several large television shows including Orphan Black’, ‘Warehouse 13’, ‘Rogue’, and ’Murdoch Mysteries’. He has also had several recurring roles in ‘Suits’, ‘Transplant,’ the mini series ’Ryan Gosling Must Be Stopped’, and web series’ ’Ming’s Dynasty’, and ‘Revenge of the Black Best Friend’.
In addition to his television work Julian has had several parts in feature productions including ’Life’, ‘Zoom’, ‘Little Italy’, and ‘The Maestro’ as well as major roles in the films ‘No Stranger Than Love’, ’The Market,’ and of course the feature film version of ‘Business Ethics’. Julian also played the young version of Gil Bellows’ Zachary Cranston in the original short film version of ‘Business Ethics’.
Julian has written, directed and starred in his own short film ‘For the Record’, which was nominated for Best Web Program or Series and Best Lead Performance by the Canadian Screen Awards, Best Drama by the Seoul Web Fest, Best International Web Series by the NYC Web Fest, and won the Best Writing award from the Marseille Web Fest. His work acting and co-writing for ‘Ming’s Dynasty’ also got him two nominations for Best Supporting Performance and Best Web Program or Series- Fiction from the Canadian Screen Awards. ’Revenge of the Best Black Friend’, which Julian both acted in and was an executive producer for, recently won the Best Web Program of Series- Fiction from the Canadian Screen Awards.

Kurtwood Smith is a well known American television and film actor. His first larger role was as Captain Scanlon in both the original television movie ‘The Renegades’ and it’s similarly titled television series adaptation. Angus MacFayden is an accomplished Scottish actor with an impressive career. Lance Reddick was a talented American actor and voice actor with a wonderful career that ran from his first credit in 1996 till he sadly passed away in 2023. Jessica Parker Kennedy is a talented Canadian film and television actress. Her first role was in the 2006 Christmas movie ‘Santa Baby’ where she played Lucy the Elf, a role she would reprise later in ‘Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe’. She also played roles in ‘Another Cinderella Story’, ’50-50’, ’In Time’, ‘Bad Meat’, ‘The Perfect Guy’, ‘Gemini’, ‘Cam’, ‘Deep Murder’, ’See for Me’, and of course, ‘Business Ethics’. Jessica won the award for Star to Watch at the Whistler Film Festival for her work in ‘Another Kind of Wedding’.
Jessica has had an especially impressive career in television. Her first television role was as a major character in ‘Kaya’. She then was cast in a leading role in a short running series called ‘Soul’, shortly before being cast in another leading role in ‘Valemont’. Only two years later she was cast in a yet another leading role in ‘The Secret Circle’. She then had a six episode arc on the mid 2000s rendition of ’90210’, followed by a five episode arc on ‘Colony’. In 2017 Jessica starred in the highly rated mini series ’I Love Bekka & Lucy’ before starring in the hugely successful Starz series ‘Black Sails’. More recently she joined the cast of ‘The Flash’ TV series, taking on the role of Nora West-Allen. Nick Wernham
Nick Wernham is a young director with an inclination for visual story telling. Nick has an eye for the aesthetics of a film, and an understanding of how visuals can best be used to relay stories to an audience. Though early in his career, Nick already boasts a handful of directorial credits in addition to 'Business Ethics.' These include both the original 'Business Ethics' short and 'No Stranger Than Love', an independent film starring Alison Brie, Justin Chatwin and Colin Hanks for which Alison Brie won the Outstanding Achievement in Acting award at the Newport Film Festival. Nick also received the Audience Choice Award at The Newark Film Festival for the feature length version of ‘Business Ethics’.

Richard Wernham
Richard Wernham is a screenwriter and producer. Since his childhood he has consumed and created stories, both fiction and non-fiction. His knack for recognizing a good story is an incredible strength, which aides in both his functions as writer and producer. Richard has been an executive producer on five projects including ‘Son of the Sunshine’, ‘No Stranger Than Love’, ’The End of War’ the original ‘Business Ethics‘ short and the feature adaptation of 'Business Ethics'. His writing credits include ‘The End of War’, the ‘Business Ethics’ short and of course, the feature length version of Business Ethics.
Several of the projects Richard has been involved with have received accolades. ’The End of War’ a short film about the last moments of World War I, received various awards, including the Audience Choice Award at Skyway Film Festival and a nomination for Best Short Film at the Woodstock Film Festival. The film also has over 25 million views on YouTube. ‘Son of the Sunshine’ received several nominations and awards including winning Best in Fest- The People’s Choice Award at Bay Street Film Festival, Best Canadian Film at Film North, Huntsville International Film Festival, the Audience Award at Malibu Film Festival and ten separate awards at Wild Rose International Film Festival. ’No Stranger Than Love’, a romantic comedy starring Alison Brie, won an award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting at the Newport Film Festival. Laron Tate
Laron Tate is a talented and incredibly hardworking producer. He has a wealth of knowledge from the more than 35 years he’s spent working in the film industry, both in front of and behind the camera. This makes him an incredible asset to any project he works on.
Laron first started out as an actor after his family moved from Chicago to Los Angeles. While acting, Laron was also pursuing his degree in Theater, Film and Television from UCLA and working for Paramount Studios. Laron's acting credits include appearances in well-known television shows like ’21 Jump Street’, ’Quantum Leap’ and ‘Doogie Howser, M.D.’.
After graduating from UCLA he shifted his focus from acting to writing, landing his first writing job working on ’The Best Damn Sports Show Period.’ Before Laron moved on to producing he worked as a writer for some of the biggest Hollywood studios: 20th Century Fox, Warner Brothers Studio and Universal Studios.
Alongside brothers, Larenz and Lahmard, Laron launched their production company TateMen Entertainment. TateMen Entertainment has produced the films 'Beta Test', 'Deuces', ‘Back to the Goode Life’, and ‘Business Ethics’ which received the Audience Choice Award at The Newark Film Festival. Laron is also an executive producer for TateMen Entertainment's own incredibly successful scripted audio podcast ‘Bronzeville.’ In addition to these projects, Laron and TateMen Entertainment have worked on music videos for artists such as Antonique Smith, Mayra Verónica and Melanie Fiona and a high-profile commercial for Conjure Cognac starring Ludacris.

Sanzhar Sultan
Sanzhar Sultan is a talented young Canadian film director, producer and writer. Born in Kazakstan, Sanzhar grew up in England before moving to Canada. After high school he attended the well known Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. He founded his first company Reverson Entertainment with his brother at just 21, and has gone on to found several others in the film space including Know Rules Media.
Sanzhar’s first film credit was for writing and directing a short film ’Makes the Whole World Kin’, an adaptation of the original story by O. Henry starring Paul Calderón. His other short film credits include writing, directing and producing ’Terminality’ and producing ’Eve’ which was an official selection at the Hollyshorts Film Festival. Sanzhar was also the series director for ‘Kün Saqshylary’ a television series based out of Kazakstan.
Sanzhar has several notable credits on feature films. He wrote, directed and produced ‘Burning Daylight’ a feature film based on three Jack London stories, set in 1920s New York and starring Robert Knepper. He also was the executive producer on the feature film ‘River’, a producer on the film ’Love Strings’. He wrote and produced the feature film ‘Hacker’ and was the sole producer on the feature length version of ‘Business Ethics’ which received the Audience Choice Award at The Newark Film Festival.

Michael LeBlanc
Michael LeBlanc is a talented Canadian cinematographer, director and producer. He started out working on music videos doing innovative projects that allowed him the room to experiment with a wide range of cinematic styles early on in his career and because of this he quickly became a master of his craft. He has a talent for easily switching between different film formats and styles making him an asset on any set.
Michael’s television credits include a director of photography credit for ’Yonge Street: Toronto Rock & Roll Stories’, and a 2nd Unit director of photography credit on Netflix's ‘Anne with an E’, and TMN's ‘Rogue’. Michael's feature film work includes cinematographer credits for ‘No Stranger Than Love’, ‘The Pin’, ’Toiretto’, ‘The Young Arsonist’ and the feature length version of ‘Business Ethics’ which received the Audience Choice Award at The Newark Film Festival. He also has writing, directing and cinematography credits for the feature film ’Tenzin’.
Michael has received the Lipsett Award from Prism Prize, an honor given to Canadian music video artist for “..their innovative and unique approach to music video art,” and a D&AD Yellow Pencil Award for Outstanding Achievement. He also received the Best Narrative Short Film Cinematography award at the Tulsa American Film Festival for his work on ‘In the Beginning was Water and Sky’.
